Stained Glass Window Restoration

The stained glass at Holy Trinity is rightly considered one of the finest collections in any parish church, containing remnants of medieval glass, fine examples of Victorian glass, and examples of glass by the renowned studio of Charles Eamer Kempe whose work is recognised by his wheatsheaf motif.

The St George Window requiries substantial repairs

Recent reports have identified £60,000 of repairs are needed on the stained glass to preserve it for future generations. This includes restoring glass panels, making the fittings safe and secure, and protecting the windows from potential vandalism.

Your support will help us to undertake this vital work for one of the world's key cultural destinations, visited every year by hundreds of thousands drawn to "Shakespeare's Church"
