Our heart-felt thanks must go to Peter Summers for his organ concert on Saturday 4th October. Held in aid of the Friends at Holy Trinity, the concert was a huge success and raised over £600.
Peter devised an inspired programme of music including compositions from Elgar, Campbell, Bach, and Barber amongst others. His enthusiasm and artistry were apparent to all, especially with the haunting melodies of Barber’s Adagio and with the ever popular Songs of Praise by Prizeman.
Let us hope we can persuade Peter to provide us with a repeat performance in the future. |
