The North Transept was formally the Chapel of St Andrew and is now the Choir Vestry
The orange stone buttresses on the North Transept are showing signs of weathering. Being on the more sheltered north side they are probably not weathering too quickly, but they should be continually monitored. Repair work will be required within the next 10 years.
The stained glass window, on the North Transept is losing its detail. Specialist restoration is required to reduce future deterioration.
There is extensive weathering and cracking to the stone work surrounding these fine windows. This will need to be replaced in the very near future.
