Welcome to the
Friends of Shakespeare's Church

Holy Trinity Church in Stratford-upon-Avon is the Church in which Shakespeare was both baptised and buried, and here you can see his grave set in the Church Chancel. Thousands of visitors come though the Church every year to view both Shakespeare’s grave and the many other important memorials and items in the Church including the font Shakespeare was baptised in, the famous bust of Shakespeare, the Clopton monument, and many fine examples of stained glass windows.

The Friends of Shakespeare’s Church is a registered charity which was set up to help maintain, restore and repair the Church for both visitors and members of the living Church for future generations.

STAINED GLASS WINDOW RESTORATION PROJECT

A recent report commissioned by the Friends of Shakespeare's Church has found that £60,000 of repairs must be undertaken on the church's beautiful stained glass windows.
