About the Friends
Established in 2003 the Friends of Shakespeare's Church is a registered charity dedicated to the preservation, restoration and beautification of Holy Trinity Church in Stratford-upon-Avon; the Church in which Shakespeare was both baptised and buried and where his remains now lie.
The Friends exist to ensure that the Church is preserved for future generations of worshippers and visitors and provides an opportunity for people workdwide to join us as custodians of our shared heritage.
Since 2003 over £1,000,000 has been raised through a variety of sources, and all that money has been spent on conserving the Church.
