Changes to the Board of Trustees
At the recent AGM Professor Ronnie Mulryne was announced as the new chairman, successor to Sir Brian Follett. Professor Mulryne is an acknowledged expert in Shakespearean and Renaissance studies, and is also a longstanding member of the Holy Trinity congregation. Also, former clerk Jo Walker, and editor of Trinity Times Pat Pilton have been elected as trustees of The Friends.
North Transept Restoration
In 2011 the Friends were delighted to fund the restoration of the North Transept. One of the oldest parts of the Church the transept has lallerly ben used as both the Choir Vestry, and a store room. The restoration has revealed some of the old church artefacts, some beautiful memorials, and allows light to flood in from the stained glass windows.
